The flexibility of our facilities makes the ICC Birmingham a unique setting for any meeting. The main Hall 1 has an impressive capacity of 1,500; while Hall 5, our smaller auditorium, holds 300 people.
Purpose-built to the highest quality, the venue has another eight halls and 10 executive meeting rooms.

10 conference halls and 10 executive meeting rooms in a range of different shapes and sizes including sub-divisible options, delivering capacities between 2 to 2,700 delegates, with layout options including theatre style, boardroom, classroom, cabaret or banqueting.
For smaller events, this means that we can always find a room to fit your needs.
For larger events, these space combinations amount to 6,426m² of venue exhibition space using all flat-floored halls and up to 3,856m² of space for gala and themed dinners using our two larger halls.
The ICC Birmingham has a choice of eight halls ranging in size from 113m² to 3,050m² designed to accommodate exhibitions. The venue has played host to a diverse catalogue of exhibitions ranging from public shows to high profile industry exhibitions by many of the world’s leading companies. The ICC Birmingham offers fantastic facilities for banquets with our venue decoration specialists able to transform spaces to create a spectacular backdrop to your event. At the heart of our banqueting credentials sits our catering team, which has one vision: to be acknowledged as the benchmark for catering excellence in the events industry.
As part of the NEC Group’s award-winning catering business Amadeus, the ICC catering team is renowned for passion, innovation and sheer class when it comes to food. Over 30 experienced chefs work to the highest standards in state-of-the-art on-site kitchens. From planning to delivery, we work with you to combine your vision with our knowledge and expertise to create a memorable dining experience for each and every guest.
Concerts and Theatre
The ICC Birmingham makes a wonderful venue for any performance-based event from music concerts to theatrical performances. Hall 1 offers theatre-style seating for up to 1,500 guests and benefits from an adjustable proscenium to a full and extensive counterweight flying system with access to load directly from a street-level loading bay. This versatile hall also includes a 17m x 7m cinema screen, an extensive stock of panels and drapes, an audio visual package complete with projector not to mention six dresing rooms and an artists lounge. Simultaneous interpretation can also be facilitated through the use of 12 purpose built interpretation booths. Included within our unique venue package is a purpose built sound system designed to allow control from two points, an impressive array of static theatre lights pre-rigged on stage bars and from bridges including control desks.
We also offer Hall 5, our tiered auditorium for up to 300 guests, which would be suitable for smaller productions and offers many similar features to Hall 1 including direct loading bay access, cinema screen, extensive audio visual package, three simultaneous interpretation booths and three dressing rooms.

Symphony Hall, with its world class acoustics and stunning auditorium, is considered one of the finest concert halls in the world. Symphony Hall is located within the ICC building, and is managed through the Town Hall Symphony Hall charitable trust due to its position as an important cultural destination within the city. However, it can still be booked as part of your event at the ICC subject to availability.
