Shakespeare’s town

A poet and playwright, Shakespeare is widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language.

The beautiful riverside town of Stratford-upon-Avon was his birthplace and the whole area is steeped in history relating to Shakespeare and his family including his school and Holy Trinity Church where he is buried. The town is also home to Harvard House, home of the benefactor of Harvard College, Cambridge, The Butterfly Museum and the Falstaff Experience.
