Disabled facilities at the ICC

We’re fully committed to ensuring the ICC is accessible to every visitor, all the time. If you have any queries, or need assistance during your visit, just get in touch with a member of staff who will be happy to help.

The ICC is accessible to wheelchair users via both ramps and lifts. Tactile signage is also fitted in the majority of lifts.

Assistance dogs are always welcome at the ICC, however we recommend not bringing them along to any events that could be particularly noisy.

An induction loop system, which can be linked to visitors’ hearing aids, is operated in selected halls at the ICC.

You’ll find unisex, wheelchair-accessible toilets throughout the ICC, located on levels 2 and 3 of the Mall.

If you’re a blue badge holder you can park for free near to the ICC. However as spaces are limited they need to be booked in advance. Just call (+44) 0121 200 2000 and leave the rest to us.

In the event of a medical emergency, please notify a member of Security or any member of staff for assistance.

It’s important to us that everyone visiting the ICC has the best possible experience the moment they arrive in Birmingham. For more information on blue badge parking, public transport guides and more, click here.

Help us, help others

The NEC Group belongs to the Employers Forum on Disability and has signed up to the Disability Access Charter. We have an in-house committee that meets regularly to address services for all our disabled visitors, as well as continually assessing accessibility to the building. However, we’re always looking to do more. So if you have any suggestions or comments, we’d love to hear them. You can get in touch here.
