The ICC Birmingham has welcomed the 18th edition of “sport’s most influential industry gathering” through its doors this week - the SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit (7-11 April 2024).

Nearly two years on from hosting the biggest-ever Commonwealth Games, the West Midlands has rolled out the red carpet for more than 1,500 international delegates from 120 sporting federations to showcase why it is at the heart of sport in the UK.

Hosting the SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit in 2024 is a significant achievement for the ICC Birmingham, the city, and the West Midlands. It represents another major opportunity to showcase the region’s venues, infrastructure, and expertise in delivering international events which leave positive legacies for our communities and beyond.

From basketball, bobsleigh and bodybuilding to tennis, triathlon and taekwondo, presidents and CEOs from global sporting organisations are visiting the ICC Birmingham this week for SportAccord’s conference programme. The summit will also feature panel events, evening networking sessions and keynote speeches.
