Working with the charity – which promotes the importance of nutrition in mental health and well-being – the team recently took a progressive step to introduce delicious new conference ‘Focus Food’ menus to the ICC, specifically designed to support delegates remain alert, productive and engaged during the longest of days.

In the last 12 months, nearly 5,000 have sampled the accredited ‘Focus Food’ menu – each course is served at the time considered best for boosting performance and concentration, while portion sizes are controlled so calorie intake is appropriate for that time of day.

Kathryn James, Managing Director of the NEC Group Conventions and Exhibitions said, “This is a huge achievement for both Amadeus and ICC as we strive to continue to deliver a world-class service to our customers’ and it is a testament to the hard work from everyone involved across all the teams.

“As we move forward we will continue to invest in the training for all teams supported by Food For The Brain, and, following the success of the initiative, we are exploring other opportunities to provide nutritional menus.”
