Wheelchair Access |
|
Symphony Hall and The ICC are accessible to wheelchair users, via ramps or lifts. Wheelchair positions are located on the ground level of Symphony Hall. Tactile signage is fitted in the majority of lifts. Assistance Dogs are welcome at our venues. For vehicles displaying blue badges, parking is free of charge at or near the main entrance. Dedicated Telephone Ticket Line |

All disabled visitors, attending concerts are advised to call our Dedicated Ticket Line number (+44 (0) 121 780 4949) when booking tickets. Symphony Hall visitors, with disabilities, will receive up to 50% discount on tickets, for themselves and one companion, proof of eligibility may be required. Advise Box Office at the time of booking if you need a wheelchair space. Please inform us of any special requirements, so that we can arrange for everything to be ready upon arrival. We will also help you find the most convenient seating for visually impaired people. Please note all tickets are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. For visitors who are hard of hearing, please refer to the section headed 'Hearing Impairments'. Dedicated Telephone Ticket Line open Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5.00pm.

Medical Facilities |

Symphony Hall and The ICC have an on-site Medical Centre with fully qualified nursing staff. If you require a private area for personal care (eg private changing facilities), please contact our Medical Centre in advance on 0121 200 2000 in order to discuss your particular requirements.

Help us Improve our Service |

The NEC Group are members of the "Employers Forum on Disability", and have signed up to the Disability Access Charter. An in-house committee meets regularly to address services for disabled visitors, and regular audits of our building are undertaken in respect of access. If you have any suggestions or comments you wish to make, please advise a member of staff. Medical Emergencies |
|
In the event of a medical emergency please notify a member of Security or any member of staff who will be pleased to help you. Alternatively, call the Medical Centre on 2222 using the internal telephones located inside the main venues.

Hearing Impairments |
|
An induction loop system is operational in selected halls at The ICC, which can be linked to visitors hearing aids. Symphony Hall is equipped with infra-red system, receivers are available for each performance from the Duty Manager.

Symphony Hall and The ICC have unisex wheelchair accessible toilets.
