Additionally, we've installed a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) generator which provides chilled water for air-conditioning, electricity and hot water for heating to two major buildings in and around The ICC's locality. To keep track of the carbon units we're saving through this scheme, a Carbon Calculator is linked to the site.

The ICC also features a green roof, designed to improve insulation, and will eventually enhance the atmosphere of Birmingham city centre.
