The ICC offers free WiFi access for delegates

Delegates attending conferences at The International Convention Centre, Birmingham, are being offered complimentary WiFi internet access.

The network, which is accessible throughout the venue’s breakout areas, can be accessed by codes, which are given to delegates when they register, with no additional cost.

Geoff Fenlon, General Manager, The ICC, said:

“This system will give delegates a means to access the internet conveniently and at no additional cost to the organiser, without putting too much space between them and their conference.”

“We will be bringing the system online around the building in a number of stages, with total coverage across the breakout areas by November this year.”

Network coverage will centre on the areas used by delegates while they are outside of the halls. The network is in addition to those available in Birmingham city centre and Café Vite on the Mall, and cannot be accessed from outside the venue.
